It is ok to be a slow runner...

So many times we see runners saying,
"I am not as fast as you guys" "Just did a slow 10k" "Just a slow practice run today" "Not a pb run today"
Instead of feeling guilty or apologizing for a slower pace run we should be happy that we did another run and pushed ourselves. It is perfectly fine to run a slower run or to feel you are not as fast as other. It is not about comparision. There will always be someone faster than you. Let's stop feeling guilty and start celebrating the runs no matter what the pace is.
It is always YOU vs YOU. If you are getting out of your comfort zone and practicing/traning/jogging/running/working out, then that is perfectly fine.
Everyone has there own journey and if you are getting better than who you were last week/month/year, that is good and you should appreciate and celebrate that.
